New Mexico

We spent Memorial weekend in NM at my parents house and had a lot of fun after the kids all got over being sick. We went shopping, made a tutu, went to the zoo, and had mom watched the girls so Brian and I could go on the Sandia Tramway (no pictures). I had a nice time hanging out with my sisters and Brian went 4X4 with Doug. It was busy, but a lot of fun.

They have a baby Giraffe (on the right), she is around 7 ft tall. You can see her mom in the picture too.

Sami Sings!

Sami recently started to sing to us and we have been practicing her ABC's, Jesus Loves me, and Twinkle Twinkle. I caught her in a good mood last night and was able to record her singing the ABC's. Hope you all enjoy listening to her as much as we do. :)

Mother's Day

Sami made me the best Mother's day gift with her Aunt Michele one day last week and I just had to post a picture to show you all. On Mother's day Brian's mom and I went out to breakfast with the girls and then I had to take her to the airport. I also had lunch with some friends and their kids, so it turned out really nice. I wish Brian had been here, but he will be here for many Mother's Day's to come, so it is alright.

Oma's Visit

Oma came to visit and help out while Brian has been gone. It was so nice to have her here to help out. Sami and Katelyn especailly loved it. Oma bought the girls a Splash pad for us to enjoy this summer and Sami has already put it to use. She is always asking to play with it now and even put her suit on herself one morning so she could play with the water left over from the sprinklers. We went to the zoo and saw a few animals, played at the Little People's play farm, Sami played at the splash pad, and enjoyed lunch on the lake. It was really nice. Tiny Dancer

Well, Sam and I are taking a Mommy and me dance class and I took a few pictures the other day. Miss Independent doens't like to listen while I am in the room, so I am going to sit out next time and see if she will listen better. The teachers are great and she loves to move, just not follow directions all the time...Surprise Surprise.
