Misc Fun Pictures

Over the last week or so we have been able to take a few cute pictures of the kids. Just thought I would share:

Sami brought in her stuffed animals, pillows from all over the house, and blankets so she could put all her of them to bed with her one morning. Notice this is not her room either.


Katelyn showing how well she holds herself up now. She rolls all the time but this week we finally got to see that it was her doing the rolling.


And its official for any of you who were curious, Katelyn is going to be a Thumb sucker like her dad was. A few times she sucked her fingers like Sami, but she decided to be her own little person.

I have been trying to get some good pictures of the two of them for a while and I finally did. I was taking pictures of Katelyn, and Sam finally decided she wanted to be in the pictures too, so she layed down right next to her for a few photos, and even smiled. I guess we can say Katelyn is officially rolling over now. She did it twice yesterday, although we still haven't seen her yet. She likes to roll as soon as we walk away. :)

Three Musketeers

We had lunch for the first time since we all had our newest edditons with the Funks and Holdens. We went to The Duke in Maricopa and were able to sit outside and let the older kids play together. They played so well and had a ton of fun together. Today we asked Sami who her friends were and the first people she said were Noah and Ruby. Here is a few pictures from the day.

EASTER!!!

We had a great Easter this year. Sami went to an Easter Egg Hunt last weekend in our community, we had church on Saturday, and this moring we dyed Eggs and went hunting for her easter basket and eggs in the yard. We also had brunch with Aunt Mari and Sarah, Ian and Pat, and Grandpa. Here are a few pictures from our days.

Last weekend we had a Birthday party for my grandfather Jerry, who turned 77. My mom and Uncle both flew in for the party and we had a great time. Here are a few pictures from the day.

High Heels

Sam has a passion for shoes we think. I can't keep them off of her and she loves to try on ever pair in the house...Apparently she is following Aunt Mari more and more.. :) She put on my high heels last night and actually was walking quite well in them. She walked all around our bedroom, to the den and was even attempting to run...Can someone say America's Next Top Model!

Someone in the Window

Sam climbed into the front window the other day and was just hanging out looking at the front yard. We just had to get a picture before we removed her from the window...Yes that is her underwear up her butt.. I am such a bad mom for posting this. By the way - we missed Katelyn rolling for the first time taking these pictures.

Katelyn's first Quilt

A good family friend..My aunt Bobbie made this wonderful quilt for Katelyn. The quilt is called the "Friendship Star" and the stars are made out of the same fabric as Sam's quilt was made from. Thanks Bobbie (and Pattie) for making this for her. I know it is something she will cherish for years to come. Love you!!!
