Silly Girl

I call Sami my silly girl all the time, and when she is being especially silly she responds back to me "Silly Girl" with a bright smile on her face. The other night she reminded me of why I like to call her my Silly Girl. She walked out of her room after bedtime and I caught her in the hallway. I told her she needed to go back to bed, but she proceed to tell me "No, Daddy's bed" and didn't like it when I told her she couldn't sleep in Daddy's bed, but had to go back to her room. To show how upset she was she put her hands on her hips and walked past me to our room and then to find Dad when he wasn't there (she was quite determined). She found him and he told her to go to bed too and so she did...All the while though, with her hands on her hips and showing a little attitude. I just loved it!! I had to keep myself from laughing while I tucked her back in.

Katelyn's Birth Record

Katelyn's Oma made her an adorble birth record and I thought I would post a picture of it and also a picture with all the other great things Katelyn received for being born. :) My friend Ruth made the sign with her Name on it and my friend Jessica made the bow board and bows. Thanks ladies for all the great things! Knowing me Katelyn will have then forever.

Kate Smiling

Well, I was finally able to take an adorable picture of Katelyn Smiling. I think she looks like the sweetest little girl. She had her two month doctors visit last week and she weighed in at 9 lbs 8.5 oz and was 22 inches long. (Sami was 11lbs at this age). Sorry I am not sure why this is posting sideways..Oh well..

Sami Clumsiness gets the best of her!

Well, we have always said Samantha was way to clumsy and she finally had a decent injury because of it. Normaly she just falls and gets back up again with no issues, but on Monday she took a hard fall on the cement/rock in the yard and recieved qute a few cuts (as you can see) and a decent bloody nose to go with them. Our big, strong girl was pretty upset and it took her quite a while to calm down, including a short time where she was gasping for air. I felt so bad for her since she never gets that upset. However, I am happy to report that less than 10 minutes later she was back to running around and being clumsy....Some things never change.

Playing with others

Well, my girls did so well today. Noah and Riley came over to play and as you can see they were both on thier best behavior. Sami was her normal clumsy self and received her first bloody nose today, but that was all her own doing. I hope this is a phase she grows out of, the poor girl always has a bruise somewhere. If not, then Brian will get his wish of a tom girl. I will try to get a photo of her face tomorrow if I can. (she was a bit swollen and scraped up)

Noah and Sami climbed in the chair to eat goldfish together.

Riley and Katelyn moving around on the floor.

More Photos of the Katelyn

Katelyn's cute feet. I just love them.

My Little Peanut (my current nickname for her). She loves to curl up on my chest, so I can't help but think she is a peanut and so darn cute.

Oma and Opa

Brian's parents were able to visit us at the beginning of March and meet their newest granddaughter. We had fun hanging out and they enjoyed spoiling the kids. Here are a few pictures from their visit.

Sami's 1st Official Hair cut!

So we finally took Samantha to have her first official hair cut. And it turned out great!! She looks like such a little girl now and her hair looks so much thicker. We just love the way it makes her look. Here are a few pictures from the event.
