Someone requested an upclose picture of Katelyn and since I received some awesome new bows for her I thought it would be a chance to show off her and the bows. She has started looking around more and is really interested in looking at all of us, so it has been fun to see her change and to watch her grow.

Our little Gymnast
We signed Sami up for a few gymnastic classes. She did great compared to the other girls that have been going for quite some time. Hopefully, once the classes end I will be able to do some of the stuff with her at home. She was able to do some somersaults, swing on the rings, walk on a floor balance beam and jump on a large trampoline. It was a lot of fun to watch her and help her learn something new.

Katelyn is one Month!!!
Well, I can't believe my little girl is one month old already. She had her check-up today and she is so small compared to Samantha. Sam was always in the 50th percentile for weight and 75th percentile for height. Miss Katelyn though is in the 25th percentile for her Height and Weight. She was 8lbs .05oz today and grew 2 inches in three weeks! She was 20 1/2. (For those that don't know the hospital measured wrong and the peds office measured her at 18 1/2. So that is what we are baseing everything from.)
Below is a picture of Sam using Dr. McCleland's Stethascope to listen to Katelyn's Heart beat. I can't believe I managed to get a picture before she stopped. Thanks to Dr. McCleland we had enough time to get one. She kept Sami intrested long enough for me to get the camera out.

Holly's Visit
Brian's sister Holly came to Arizona for a work conference and was able to spend most of the day with us on Thursday. We girls all went to the mall and spent some time shopping. Holly and Sam took a ride on the Carousel. Which Sami thoroughly enjoyed. We also had dinner at Joe's Crab Shack (Brian's idea) and as you can tell Holly, Brian and Sam, shared quite the bucket of Crab, along with Bibs for Dad and Auntie. Katelyn also received a lot of attention from her Aunt. Thanks for visiting with us while you were here Holly!

Well we have been home more than a week and Katelyn will be two weeks old tomorrow. We have managed to change her sleep schedule and she is starting to spend a little bit of time awake in the morning and evening. My mom came to visit and was here for 4 days. It was great to have her help and Sami was able to spend quite a bit of time with her. Now I am starting my first week home alone. I am a bit nervous, but excited to see what will happen in the next few days.
Samantha's Room
Well, it has taken a while, actually 2 weeks short of a year, but her room is finished. First we ordered furniture and it finally arrived, then we had to decided on bedding. Then finally we had to move all of Samantha's clothes into her room. She has been sleeping in here since May when we moved her into her toddler bed, but nothing has been in the room. We finaly found a small book shelf to hold her books, but as you can see it is already overflowing. Then my grandfather built some wonderful wall shelves and Brian painted them and put them up. I am so excited it is finally complete. Hope you enjoy seeing the room.
