Misc Pictures from this week
Here are a few pictures of Samantha with her Aunt's Amy and Allison. We also spent a little time at a good family friend's home, Aunt Bobbie, and had a great time over there. Sami really enjoyed all the attention from her and her sister Patti.

Christmas Day
Christmas morning we opened presents and had breakfast with my immediate family. Sami was interested enough in unwrapping, but didn't care to much about the gifts until she finished opening everything. She even opened a few that were not hers. We had a lot of family come over for dinner in the afternoon. My parents, 4 of my sisters, my sister Sarah's boyfriend Ian and his mom Pat, and my Grandfather, with his girlfriend Ester and her daughter CarolAnn. Everyone seemed to enjoy the Wii we received for Christmas, especially the game Guitar Hero. It was a great time, although probably a little stressful for me since I was put on bed rest this week. (Yes I went to Christmas Eve services anyways).
We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your family's.

Christmas Eve Services
Here are a few pictures that we took from Christmas Eve services at Cornerstone. Samantha loved the petting zoo. Everytime she touched a new animal she shreaked in excitement and then ran off to pet the next one. It was really cute! She also was able to get into a bouncy house and we rode the hayride they have every year.

Zoo Lights
Brian and I bought Sam a membership to the zoo as part of her Christmas present. I know it is a little early. Brian was able to take Sam to the zoo 2 weeks ago and then we went to zoo lights this past weekend. Sami loved looking at all the animals and she was able to point out and name almost everyone we saw in the lights. They have a light show, as well, that changes colors and lights as the music played and Sami really liked the show.

We happend to go last year and I took the same picture of Brian and Sami at the same spot, so you can see how she has grown in the last year. Gosh she sure has grown.
Baby Shower
On Saturday my sisters Mary and Sarah threw me a baby shower. It was so nice to get together with our family and a few friends to celebrate the baby. Mari had me where a tiara for the day, so that is why a crown in on my head. Sami loves it! Here are a few pictures:

It's a GIRL!!!!
We are so excited to be adding another little girl to our family. Well, I tried to post the U/S picture, but I am having issues.
Below is a picture of me taken at 21 weeks. (I am now 23 weeks).

We found out a few weeks ago that the baby has only two vessels in her umbilical cord. There are three normally. Although the doctors are not overly concerned, please pray that she will continue to grow regularly and have no issues once she is born.

TAG!!!
Well, I have offically been tagged by my friend Kami. So here goes...
I'm going to tag other moms I know who blog to continue this on: Jessica and Jill
Here ya go!
1. How many children do you have?
One, with another on the way!
2. What are their ages?
Samantha is 26 months and another little girl on the way due sometime in Jan.
3. What time do you start your day?
During the week I get up around 4:ooam for work. On the weekends it depends on Brian and Sam, I like to sleep in until at least 9:00am if I can manage it. :)
4. What do you eat for breakfast?
Right now....A granola bar, cheese its and a piece a fruit. Over the course of a few hours after I get to work.
5. Do your kids watch TV?
Yes...Sami is unfortunatly addictied, however we do attempt to limit it. Mostly she wants to watch movies, especially Finding Nemo. She also watches Playhouse Disney in the mornings. Oh, and how could I forget, she loves 2 1/2 Men, she can even sing the theme song!
6. What are their favorite activities?
Playing with her Cozy Coupe and getting into things that don't belong to her. She has a ton of toys, but those are not what interests her. Occasionally though she will read her books all on her own.
7. Do you get a break during the day for some you time?
What are Breaks????
8. How do you end your day?
Looking for baby names in a book we have...not that it is getting us anywhere.
9. What is your best parenting advice or tip?
Sleep when you can and buy used.

Sami is 2!
Samantha turned 2 over the weekend it is hard to imagine that she is no longer a baby. She had a small party on Saturday to celebrate. We had a great time with friends and Sami, Noah and Ruby had a great time too. (as you can see). I made Sami an Ice Cream cake and with tinkerbell colors and topper. It was harder than I thought since the cake couldn't make it 10 min out of the freezer without starting to melt. Next time I will start the cake a day earlier. Enjoy the pictures.

Summer
SUMMER DAYS!

Well, this summer we have kept pretty busy. Sami took swim lessons and is getting more and more use to the water. As you can see from the picture she is really starting to enjoy playing in the water and floating on her own.
We spent sometime with a friend of mine who just had a baby in May. Sami played with her older son Nathan all morning and took a long nap that afternoon. Sami and Nathan both decided they wanted to try the cozy coupe together. They look so cute!

Vegas
Well, we just returned from Vegas on Monday and had a wonderful time with Brian's sister Holly and Faren. I know we go on too many vacations. :) Brian and I saw KA' at MGM and it was a great show. We spent time walking around, because that is all anyone does in Vegas and ate until we couldn't fit anything else into our stomaches. (Too many buffets). I inlcuded a picture of all of us at one of the hotels.
Samantha spent the weekend with our good friends Robert and Jenny. She loved spending the weekend at thier house and playing with Noah. Here is a picture of her with her new purse.
Both of us are back in school again. Hopefully it will be a smoothe semester and we can spend a month off in August.

We love Cruising, but missed our kiddo!
So on our Cruise, we swam with Dolphins, Scuba Dived for the first time, and rode ATV's around Mexico. We had so much fun! We met a great group of people at our dinner table and enjoyed quite a few evenings with them. Brian was a little sick the first evening, but after that he did well. We can't wait to go on another cruise, since it was so easy and relaxed. :)

Sam loved her visit with Oma and Opa and spent a lot of time traveling around the valley with them. She went to a few museums, old Spaghetti factory, the Phoenix Zoo, the Swap Meet, and Indian Ruins in Casa Grande. (I am sure I am missing something too.) She also rode two carousals and enjoyed her time at the park. We can tell she was spoiled rotten. :)
She hardly even noticed we were gone, but is happy that we are back. (She keeps giving me the worried look..wondering if we are going to leave her again. ) Poor kid. While out to dinner last night she was walking along the sidewalk and sat down on a column ledge. She then motioned for Brian and I to sit down with her. It was so so cute. We are happy to be home with her too!

Bubbles
This weekend we purchased a few new outside toys for Samantha. She says the word bubbles now, and loved the bubbles right on her face. She asked the rest of the night for more bubbles. Sam thinks if she shakes her head yes when asking that she will receive it.....
We are waiting for Opa and Oma to visit before we open the other toy. It is a little kiddy sprinkler. Hopefully she will like it as much as she likes her other water toys.

Sami's new bed
Brian and I have been working around the house again. I know we never stop. This weekend Brian put together Sami's new toddler bed and placed it in her new room. She slept in it last night for a while and then ended up in her crib around 2am. She also slept there for her entire nap this afternoon. We are currently trying to get her to sleep tonight. :) I included a picture from her last night.
Some of the other things going on around house are: Updating the Den, including paint and new bedding and window coverings. We also mounted a TV to the wall in the den. (Kind of scary). Brian also worked on getting a storage holder put up in the gargage. I have been mostly cleaning out old things and getting us ready for our cruise. (oh and finishing school, only one more week to go!)

Sami's Night night
I just thought I would share this cute story with you.
Last night after Sami took her bath, Brian handed her a towel to start drying off. Sami then placed it in the bathtub, told Brian "Night Night" and layed down on the towel to go to sleep. It really cute to see her laying down in the tub trying to go asleep. She said it a few more times and then finally crawled out of the tub to get dressed.

To start a Blog
So I thought about it and decided we should have a blog. This way I can let you know all the fun things we have been doing without taking all the time to update the website. Now I will still update the site when I am out of school, but this way you can find out what is going on a little more than once every 4-5 months.
